Renee Garcia-Brown is of Irish and Latino heritage (granddaughter of Bridget Elizabeth Dallat-Brown and daughter of Dolores Garcia-Brown), born and raised in Los Angeles and made it through 4 years of the army without losing her life, her mind or her identity. She worked as a photojournalist for small and medium-sized newspapers and is a published author of fiction and poetry, much of it in Subversify. She be chillin’ (best she can) in Texas until her triumphal return to the Angeleno homeland.
