For all those too stubborn and pissed off to quit.
Softly, I must end this year
As bloody, broken as I am picking up butchered slabs of my own flesh
Hoping I can fit it all back together
Enough to hold it firm to heal
So after a light soft rest
I can get up and go back
To stand side-by-side
With our warriors as we fight
For freedom in the next
Goddamn bloody year.
