It’s unfortunate that most people don’t understand where terrorism/acts of violence come from.

Mental illness is what causes people who are victimized (or think they are victimized) to snap and lash out against others. Abuse leads to more abuse.

Nobody is born hateful or violent. They become hateful because they fail in life. They snap because their lives of pain and misery come to an end inside their head. They may be facing oppression or financial ruin. They feel they’re at the end of the road. They hate the world because, as they see it, the world (or a country, or a person, or a group) has wronged them. Someone has to pay for it.

Most people have figured this much out. The “mentally ill” (the schizoprenics, the borderlines, the paranoids, and men of rage) are dangerous.

What’s just as upsetting though is that American society hasn’t quite figured out that sociopathic and narcissistic personalities are just as much in the mental illness category.

They’ve come up with the concept of “high-functioning” sociopaths and narcissists who supposedly are capable of leading, and working in high-ranking positions. They’re good at their jobs because of their lack of ethical decisions.

It’s not true. Don’t believe it.

Anti-social personalities may be very good at greed – and at self-preservation. But they are not fit to be leaders.

Donald Trump’s narcissism has been well documented. Hillary Clinton’s sociopathic behavior (laughing at a rape victim, abandoning soldiers in Benghazi, destroying Libya) is also known, at least among Republicans.

What does it say that the world rewards sociopathic personalities rather than viewing them as mentally ill?

People in power ignore the cries of the mentally ill, the poor, and the ones suffering. And it WORSHIPS people who are, by nature, malignant. Whoever is “successful” is an important person worthy of attention. Never mind the fact that these people (mostly politicians, celebrities, etc) are out to help themselves, at the expense of the greater population.

Sociopaths are parasitical by nature. Unfortunately, they are very common in society. They are charming on the outside…until they turn on you in the worst way possible. These sociopaths/narcissists who are powerful are what turn the mentally ill into violent criminals.

The Myth of High-Function Sociopaths and Narcissists

The Las Vegas shootings of October 1-2, 2017 were committed by a domestic terrorist who owned illegal weapons. There is literally nothing that could have been done to stop this, except figure out a way to eliminate his weapons source.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack. Remember, the U.S. government had no evidence that Osama Bin Laden did 911 except a confession from the man himself. Accepted into evidence. ISIS claimed responsibility but that confession was immediately denied as evidence.

Even so, it’s quite likely this was domestic terrorism rather than an internationally funded operation. What are terrorists – besides the “roaches”, the “racists” and the “pure evil” labels that we give them?

Terrorists are borderlines, are bipolars, are schizos, dependents, pushed to the edge. They direct their hate towards the Rich, the Politicians, the Narcissists and Sociopaths who have been given unspeakable power.

So you have a battle of mentally ill people that we all just tolerate….and REWARD by giving them attention.

We’re a society that rewards “success” (whatever it takes to be rich and famous) and lets victims fend for themselves. As long as we treat the poor like garbage, we as a society of callous Liberals, Conservatives and Libertarians, create mental illness, which creates terrorism.

We minimize narcissism and sociopathy as disorders we cannot control – hence we set these people out into the world. I would suggest narcissism and anti-social personality disorder are just as dangerous as letting a schizophrenic out into the world.

We ADMIT that we allow narcissists and sociopaths to contribute to society – rather than be limited in what they can do.

An article from Pew Research recently concluded that some of the “best presidents” were narcissistic.

Should we allow the mentally ill to lead us – just because it makes us more money?

Here’s a thought: how about we decide, as a society of people without major personality disorders, that we are going to STOP letting narcissists and sociopaths lead us? If we allow narcissists and sociopaths to lead us (because of our own greed) then terrorism is the result of our moral weakness.

Narcissism and sociopathy may well be evolutionary based. The consensus is that many psychopaths are born that way and they are increasing in number. For all we know, it may be an evolutionary event happening….and I as an Empath am allowed to feel threatened by their existence.

Someone who lacks empathy and has, by definition, a persistent “pattern of disregarding and violating the rights of others”, does not deserve the same rights as a person who is law abiding, compassionate and concerned about the welfare of others. Certainly not the right to lead.

This is not bigotry…this is self-preservation. And yet another reason, Subversify refuses to vote for narcissists and sociopaths of the Democratic and Republican parties.

  1. The main problem I have with your argument is the idea that Sociopaths can somehow “pass”, act normal or are “charming”. A Sociopath cannot do that, they don’t have the intellectual capacity to function as a leader or even a Walmart clerk. They simply cannot fit in. They may think they can but they fall right apart. Sociopaths are the ones that kill their girlfriend’s parents and think it’s okay. They aren’t going to make it in the world.
What you’re thinking of is a Psychopath and a low-medium functioning one. A Psychopath is intellectually capable of tracking information and integrating. They are the ones described as “charming” and “nice.” A high-functioning Psychopath, forget about it, we talk about them after the fact because they easily deceive, they could be Kennedy’s or Carters for all we know.
I’ll just add here, that narcissists are assholes. They are not necessarily hell bent on anything like power though. They could just be normal everyday assholes that troll people on video games or are bad customers at stores. So while I wouldn’t want one in control of me, I wouldn’t say, let’s isolate all the narcissists.

  2. Although I will concede that Hillary Clinton probably falls into Sociopath as she cannot seem to keep her shit together can also, cannot notice when people aren’t picking up what she’s laying down.

  3. I may be going out on a limb here, but who cares? Everyone else seems fine with blaming everyone else rather than talking things out rationally. So I’m joining the crowd with a distinctly psychiatric bend.

I don’t think we should allow narcissists or sociopaths anywhere near a position of power. It really is the equivalent of giving a schizophrenic a gun, as Trump and Clinton (and Obama) showed us.

“The main problem I have with your argument is the idea that Sociopaths can somehow “pass”, act normal or are “charming”. A Sociopath cannot do that, they don’t have the intellectual capacity to function as a leader or even a Walmart clerk.”

Well yes and no. You’re right they eventually reveal who they really are and they do systematically attack their friends – but only AFTER (A) they get what they need from them or (B) the friend discovers that they are sociopathic and are “not like other people”.

The problem is, we have no auditing system for seeing how presidents “really behave” behind closed doors. It’s all bipartisan hearsay.

“They simply cannot fit in. They may think they can but they fall right apart. Sociopaths are the ones that kill their girlfriend’s parents and think it’s okay. They aren’t going to make it in the world.”

Exactly. They are pretty much criminals waiting to happen, as bigoted as that sounds.

“What you’re thinking of is a Psychopath and a low-medium functioning one. A Psychopath is intellectually capable of tracking information and integrating. Yes I did think about this but I refrained from stating it because I figured it would be difficult enough to explain to my audience (originally on Facebook, my family account and then my friend account) what a sociopath is, and much more so the difference between psychopath and sociopath.

I understand the difference, I’m not sure most people do. But the consequences are the same.

“I’ll just add here, that narcissists are assholes. They are not necessarily hell bent on anything like power though. I would OK with Cluster B types having some rights. But not in positions of power. Their goal is to make people miserable and make themselves happy.

I realize that my new rule would put a lot of weight into the psychiatric community, and god knows they probably have a 50% narcissist and psychopath population.

So I dunno what the answer is, this was more of a rant than an article. 😉

  4. The schizophrenics, borderlines and paranoids is most if not all of us when stressed to the max (if LM Warren is making a generalisation). But men of rage is another cartegory which because of the failure applying self control their modus operandi can blend with or into sociopathic and narcissism….???

  5. Anyone with a personality disorder should be disqualified from office – especially if a lack of empathy is a symptom and there is no real treatment for that type of mind. Unfortunately, Americans seem to think these anti-social traits are admirable.

  6. The problem is who gets to declare you have a mental disorder and on what basis? You would pretty much have to define what “normal” is. Good luck with that.

As far as choosing leadership, we are being manipulated by the people in power, and by that I don’t mean the politicians we elect, I mean the people that run them. Part of Trumps “charm” is that he puts up a front of not being influenced by that, he’s his own person and he makes his own decisions. Which would be comforting if he wasn’t a con man and borderline organized crime all his life.

But when it comes down to it, the small group of people running the show have one trait in common: They are all master manipulators. They can make large masses of people do something they ordinarily wouldn’t do, and at many times, things that are not in their own interest. Like going to war. Or committing a terrorist act. People who are sane don’t do these things unless they are manipulated into it. And that includes dropping a missile from a drone on a group of people you don’t know based on someone telling you to do it.

Unfortunately technology is making things worse in this regard not better, because to avoid being manipulated you need to know facts, and it’s getting too easy to manipulate facts. Which leads to a population not being able to believe anything “Truth isn’t Truth”, and falling back on their “gut feelings” about things which allow them to call any pieces of information that fit’s their preconceptions “facts” and everything else “fake”.

I don’t know. I think I have about given up on the fairy-tale that people are rational beings. I like this quote from Men in Black:

Kay: “A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you’ll know tomorrow. “

  7. Trump’s rise to power boggled my mind, since I thought for all my life the CIA, Bilderberg groups. and powers that be were much too smart to ever let an idiot take over their world.

To this day, I still can’t decide if (A) Trump accidentally got elected and so now they’re controlling him like a horse running after a carrot or (B) Trump is more or less doing what they want, he’s just a retard out in public.

I’ve given up on the idea that Trump is holding the government hostage. They’ve killed much stronger people for doing much less. Julian Assange is the one fighting for his life. Trump is sleepy comfy in a White House / Marlago Resort / Nursing Home program for rich bastards.
