“That the chemical weapons claims weren’t true, weren’t true
But we had it on the best authority, and so had the President
So what do you, do you expect us to do?
“The intelligence was wrong,” said the Obamaist
“The President didn’t drop, didn’t drop the ball
They told him, they told him wrong
It wasn’t his doing, it wasn’t his doing at all.
“We didn’t know,” said the Obamaist
“That the rebels might stoop to lie, to lie
They lied to him, lied to the President
We think they might, might deserve to die.
“It must’ve been the regime’s fault,” said the Obamaist
“After all, the dictator should’ve, should’ve fled
When the President ordered, ordered him to quit
Or he should’ve, should’ve wound up dead.
“He didn’t do either,” said the Obamaist
“He didn’t die and he didn’t, he didn’t run
So what happened, happened, is all his fault
The President didn’t bomb him for fun.
“We didn’t know,” said the Obamaist
“That bombs sometimes go, sometimes go astray
That drones kill kids, kids and their mommas
They must’ve deserved it, deserved it anyway.
“Why, we destroy countries,” said the Obamaist
“Only to save the people, the people there
We aren’t evil like Dubya, George W Bush
Or his poodle, his poodle Blair.
“As for the NSA,” said the Obamaist
“It keeps us safe, it keeps us free
For when the President lies, he lies for the good
Of Wall Street and military industry.
“For we’re the greatest nation,” said the Obamaist
“The greatest nation that has ever, has ever been
We stand taller, we see further
Than anyone has ever stood or ever seen.
“And we elected a black man President,” said the Obamaist
“So we’ve said goodbye, goodbye to race
And if you dare criticise, dare criticise the President
You’d better not, better not show your face.
“For if you do, you’re a racist,” said the Obamaist
“And a conservative troll as well, as well
The President will send a drone over your way
To send you right off, right off to terrorist hell.
“Oh we’re liberal, liberal” said the Obamaist
“And about it we aren’t shy, we aren’t shy
When we murder people, why it’s because
Those people deserved, they deserved to die.
“If the President says black’s white,” said the Obamaist
“To believe him our duty, it is, it is
You can have your ‘facts’ and ‘evidence’
We’d rather live in our worshipful bliss.”

There is more truth to this than many would admit. We saw a little of this on Astra’s page the other night.

But seriously, Obamer isn’t so bad. (Were his ancestors’ owners Irish? Did Irish immigrants own slaves in those days? Is it racist to talk about people owning other people?) Seems to me like this is all just a case of shoot the messenger. I think Obama is being set up to be hated, when he’s really just a poor nobody like all the rest of us.
I mean, when the Zionist lobby demands that the middle east be cleared out to make room for Israel, what is Obama going to do? Say no?
The US Election Show is great because if your side didn’t win this time, they are almost certain to win next time, because whoever is in power just fucks shit up so bad that come the next elections everyone votes for the other guys. “Hey let’s blame everything on Bush and vote Democrat next time…hey let’s blame everything on the black guy and vote for Bush again…why the hell not?”
Tehran has two soccer teams which have the largest fanbase in the city. Incidentally, one is red and the other is blue. For the past decade or so, for strange unknown socio-political reasons, their games always end up tied. Or otherwise if reds win the first game of the season, blues always win the second, so essentially neither side is winning, and the fans on both sides have no choice but to stay appeased. The games between these two teams used to fill Azadi stadium to its max capacity of 100,000 and millions of other people would get all riled up with excitement. People really cared, so much so that there used to be riots and mass street fights after the games when 50,000 unhappy fans met up with 50,000 happy ones in the parking lot. Nowadays though, the games are so dull and the results are so predictable it’s like everyone involved is on prozac or something.
I can already see the next US Republican President saying some crap like “we should have bombed Syria before the terrorists blew up the empire state building, shame on Obamer he was too weak” and then rushing to attack Iran while a bunch of crazed New Yorkers cry and pray at ground zero, again.
Obama isn’t the worst we’ve had. That title goes to Gee Dubbya Bush. In this case, two bushes in the hand arten’t equal to one Obama in the Whitehouse! Many were prepared to hate him because of his race long before the election that put him in office. But he’s been good for this country, whether people want to believe that or not. I’m not black, I’m very white and I was prepared to vote for him from the beginning. Those who abhor him will not listen to a thing he says, so they really don’t know what it is he has to say. They ignore him out of hand, just because. They will be the ones complaining the loudest when we have another republican in office (God forbid.). Then they will be singing: I wish we had Obama back all the live-long day (sung to the tune of Camptown Races).
