Death of a MOSSAD Agent

At Neu Koln, Berlin, when catching the subway south towards Rudow (to Britz Sud), I was standing at the underground kiosk buying breath fresheners when the train arrived. I quickly tried to complete the transaction but figured I would likely have to catch the next train. I noticed a group of young Arabs holding the door to the train open, preventing it’s departure, all (four) of them watching me; clearly it appeared as though they either expected me to catch that train or they would not be on it themselves.
The train consequently waited for me and I sprinted to the door they were holding for me and jumped between them, onboard. They let the door close as I turned 180 degrees rather than taking a seat, making them a group of five.
Standing facing them, holding a pole, all seemed surprised at my action. A shorter, darker one, then began to assail me in Arabic language as though I were expected to understand. This one initially took the lead and was most vehement and hostile, although a couple of the others were also saying quite angry things to me direct, also expecting I would understand.
I simply looked at them all, eyes moving one to the other direct, and asked, “Do you speak English?”
A tall member of the group, with light complexion on my right (all of them were facing me) and who did not become involved with the angry speech, indicated he did speak English with, “Yes.”
I asked, “What country are you from?”
His indirect answer was to point to the most hostile one, the short grubby one who was wearing an Israeli Defense Force battle fatigue shirt as though it were a trophy, and stated, “He is Palestinian.”
He made this a clear distinction. My guess was the one who’d made this statement and the two others (all taller, better dressed and with lighter complexion than the “Palestinian”) were all Hezbollah-aligned Lebanese. (There is a large Lebanese community in that area)
I said to the short, hostile one emphatically, “You’re Palestinian? I apologize to you for George Bush!”
That one statement changed everything. All of them went silent and the “Palestinian” never said another word.
I then said, “There are many good people in my country who don’t like what is happening…it is a difficult situation.”
From this moment and comment, the now totally silent (and clear outsider) “Palestinian” became the target of the Lebanese, while they checked out my reactions to their terrorizing the “Palestinian”, the focus of their hostility had shifted away from me.
What happens now is really interesting. One of the Lebanese is suddenly is getting on his cell phone and making a call… while the group’s leader, the tall one to my right, looks at me while pointing to the “Palestinian”, who is suddenly looking very ill, and says “Maybe he is Israeli,” while assessing my reaction.
I deliberately made myself look surprised and suspicious, raised one eyebrow at the ‘Palestinian’ and said “Israeli Arab?” as though I both did not fully understand and did not like the idea or somehow found it disconcerting.
The train had made a brief stop and a fifth Arab (Lebanese) joined us with a cell phone and greeting the other Lebanese but not the ‘Palestinian’ who had simply become demoralized with a now clearly frightened look. The new arrival had some conversation in Arabic with the tall one on my right, after a hand/fist greeting that, by gesture and look, was attempting to sort some things that needed sorting.
The new arrival is now on his phone while also talking to the tall one to my right, but interrupts his conversation with the tall Lebanese and asks me, “Where are you from? England?” almost as to test my veracity (his English skills would know).
I clearly answered, “USA.”
I was asked, “Where do you stay?” I stated as a matter of fact, “Berlin.”
Then I was asked: “Do you speak German?” and I answered, “Only a little,” whereas the tall one to my right gave an absolutely evil look at the “Palestinian” and said slowly, deliberately, “My German is VERY good.”
The new one and the tall one looked at each other, spoke again in Arabic, and then the tall one suggested to me, while rubbing the “Palestinian’s” belly, “Maybe he is a good boy for sex. What do you think?”
Now the “Palestinian” had the absolute look of I am going to die on his face as I answered emphatically, with the culturally correct “I am a good man!” and an offended look. (I wore silver studs in my ears at that time and likely had been falsely profiled to MOSSAD as gay) Suddenly the tall Lebanese, with my answer, made a violent stabbing motion with his right hand at the “Palestinian” while shouting (nearly screaming) to the new arrival, “The Israeli must be killed!!”
The Lebanese closed around the “Palestinian” with looks of shock and rage on their faces. When the train stopped they shoved him off the train together with stepping off themselves. I assure you all, the “Palestinian” did not live long after this interrogation, at most a matter of hours.
Now, I noticed the Germans on the train, men looking straight ahead, no expression; several women had looks of absolute terror on their faces, it had been that intense.
The “Palestinian” was clearly not one of the group in any sense of intimate acquaintance or typical association. He was dressed a bit shabbily, wearing the IDF olive drab fatigue jacket with a Hebrew lettered tag over the left pocket. The Lebanese were all clean, well dressed, of a better class, and obviously educated and intelligent.
The “Palestinian” had gone from initiator of the group’s hostilities towards me, to the group’s target in this course of events lasting at most 15, more likely, only 10 minutes. I expected I could have died. Clearly, the posed-as “Palestinian” MOSSAD agent had died instead.
This was a failed scheme (compromised operation) of using the phony “Palestinian”, in effect MOSSAD, attempting to dupe Hezbollah into taking someone out with a hit.
Between my survival skills employed through confronting the circumstance with dialogue, and Hezbollah’s suspicion and caution, the Israeli operative, in a sense, literally cut his own throat. He was not prepared for my direct engagement.
MOSSAD is bound to a code of conduct which requires avenging a loss. I would simply point out to the Israelis, at what price? The nature of psychology is, when you have made a mistake, that mistake must be corrected, to stay on track with a correct course of action. Otherwise, mistakes can become complications and complications can lead to making by far more serious mistakes. BIG MISTAKES.
The self-inflicted damage done, with the ensuing pursuit of myself over these past several years, has been quite significant, let me assure you. Meanwhile, I’ve mastered that most rare and peculiar art of surviving as live bait.
One question you REALLY should look at is: Did the CIA calculatedly omit the fact I had repeatedly surprised and neutralized or reversed previous operations mounted at myself, over a period easily exceeding 15 years prior to this event? By now, you should understand, clearly, numerous subsequent failures can be no accident. Had their purpose been, if you could not take me, the damage inflicted to your organization is a secondary reward, a consolation prize?
It would make much more sense to take out the anti-Semitic American team leader who’d failed the operation 11 days previous, on October 3rd, to fulfill your code’s requirements. Because you had been purposely lied to, when this hit job had been handed off to your organization.
Perusing my public information will easily identify that team leader by name.

This is why you only work with people you trust – if this were a competent hit man he would have either hit you alone (which has its risks, of course – but at least one doesn’t have to worry about a partner fucking up or betraying him) or else would have had trusted affiliates to play-act the role of Arabs from the region (which would have completed the illusion of a killing over nationalistic disputes and avoided the hang-up that the agent got himself into). If this is a true story it makes me wonder about the quality of the agents the state is training these days.
In either case, fuck this guy – I have no love for the MOSSAD or any other state-backed intelligence agency. I can only hope that the U.S./NATO empire employs agents this dumb when civil war finally breaks out over here…
@Mitchell, no problem. I’d no intention of sharing this story but time and circumstance can change things. There is a certain empathy, one wonders (I have thought about this a bit since sharing) whether he had a woman cared for him, or kids, if his mother is alive and wondering about the circumstance of his death (never shared by the agencies) .. but the bottom line is, he’d made a choice and it put him in a position that brought on accountability in a most unexpected way. Empathy is not sympathy however, the responsibility for what had happened lies squarely with himself and the people he’d worked with.
@Azzhole, fake Arabs would go undetected in Neu Koln about 10 seconds, except in the case of a Sephardic Jew with shared language and culture (excluding religion.) There can be very solid reasons to attempt making a hit look like a random act of violence (to try and misinform any subsequent investigation) .. and many operation run on the edge and can look bad when gone wrong (the always do, when gone wrong. You appear not to understand (or do not wish to acknowledge) my engaging the direct dialogue in the specific manner I did, is the result of training and the exception rather than the rule when it comes to peoples reaction in like circumstance. Yes, the agent should have been prepared for that and was not and I point that out, nevertheless it is not so simplistic as your interpretation.
..and were civil war to break out I would hope good people would realize how dumb it would be to have you on their side. I expected you would be right here like a dog snapping to his master’s wishes (a graceful fellow writer without agenda would perhaps notice I’d never made a comment on your articles? Oh, that’s right, you have never displayed one iota of grace) and of course it goes right over your head how a non-violent direct engagement can cause violent action to self-destruct .. rock on fool
A couple things…
1. I get that your words were deliberate and I got the whole “soft answer turning away wrath” theme – what I’m saying is that a competent hit man would not have had his plans hinge on the temperments of people he couldn’t trust (which calls your story into question). I know people connected to free agents that know better than to do that.
2. I have no “masters” and never was an agent of authority (which right there is more than what can be said of you) and of course I have an agenda in publishing here (as does everyone, yourself included) – and I’m quite open about the intentions of my writings. And I already do have allies I can trust, thank you very much: of course, I doubt some one as judgemental as yourself would recognize them as “good” people though…
3. I offer my commentary wherever I see fit – if you don’t want to comment on my work, that’s your perogative.
@Azazel, a lucid and intelligent set of remarks, kudos. What I point out is your typical aggressiveness which sets out to undermine, noted as aimed at other authors here, so I do not feel singled out. And to your general lack of professional courtesy which has drawn notice from others as well.
In keeping with your theme of consistently seeking to undermine, there is your own projected inconsistencies:

appears to be an admission of the veracity of my experience at face value. This is inconsistent with your:
“If this is a true story..” and “(which calls your story into question)”
Presuming I actually had the experience as related (it is reconstructed nearly verbatim from notes I’d made shortly after the event), several things could come into play, but first
There are three basic types of offensive covert intelligence operations. 1) infiltration or placing an asset inside an organization (spy), 2) penetration or turning a member of an organization (traitor) and 3) false flag or duping an organization into performing against their own interests (sale.)
Given any set of circumstance, there may or not be combined elements of the preceding. As well there will be variables given to change with changed circumstance over time.
Now, whether you in your presumed ideological purity (a weak point) like to admit it or not, there are people in the ‘business’ with an understanding of multiple realities. For instance, one reality is there are people who bail out because of ethics issues. Since 2001, this has been an accelerated phenomena and the ‘best in the business’ have been either leaving or have been driven out. This leaves more and more ideological driven senior people, inexperienced & less competent middle management and numerous green operatives. So, indeed there has been an overall quality loss, and risks taken that were unthinkable in previous times and circumstance. This has been true of both American and Israeli intelligence and more pronounced over a longer period with the Israelis.
The mistakes resulting from process of the better and more experienced people leaving, and greater difficulty recruiting the more intelligent people, because of the radical direction taken by the present administrations are mistakes by no means to limited to my case. One only need look at the “incredibly clumsy” rendition of an Egyptian cleric in Italy resulting in arrest warrants for 23 CIA operatives, or the “incredibly clumsy” attempted assassination of Kalid Meschal resulting in captured MOSSAD agents by Jordan. Just two better known examples of numerous breakdowns in operations.
Yes, I served the system these people attempt to sustain, I have never denied that. That I had flipped (many years ago) to the side of social justice on account of that experience, is well documented.
In your case, the many solicitations to violence you present is an invitation to the young and passionate to compromise themselves .. and indeed how could you miss that (except for clumsiness;)
Or perhaps you are simply a narcissist/jerk as seems to be past consensus
For the record, that statement regarding the deliberate use of words and “soft answer turning away wrath” theme was taking your story at face value for the sake of argument – what I was implying is that the story read like a “morality” fable rather than a real account (or at least an account inconsistent with reality as I have come to know it). I don’t wish to go into detail here, but the world I’ve come to know is one with very little to offer in the way of tact and the agents of authority hardly keep up any pretense of being “ministers of justice:” you see, I’m used to dealing with people that invent a pretext (think of the stereotypical scene of a cop “finding” a bag of narcotics he just pulled out of his pocket in the trunk of a minority individual’s car) and then simply adjust the “evidence” they “find” to fit that initial justification for aggressive actions against whoever they singled out – so an incident like the one you described seems more than a little foreign to my experience.
Then again, looking at this in a new light, perhaps it’s because I’ve grown accustom to dealing with a different sort of agent of authority than the MOSSAD-types that has biased my views of how the agents of the state act (less focus on tact and more emphasis on brute force): I suppose that a “dropping out” of seasoned agents probably would explain the sloppiness of the intended attack – and also why the free agents I’m familiar with (by reputation – I don’t admit to knowing any personally) demonstrate more skill in the trade than the state’s agents do. So perhaps I do need to broaden the scope of my understanding a bit.
However, it seems you have some misunderstandings about me – I never gave any invitations to engage in violent action, nor do I call for people to compromise themselves. What I’ve advocated from the start was *preparation* for a violent conflict: the established order needs little or no pretext for violence of its own (the “occupy” crowd is only now just figuring that out) and there’s no real defense within the scope of the “law” that the average person has at his disposal (especially when the “evidence” against him is manufactured and the courts favor the prosecution over the defense) – thus the only valid defense that the individual seeking to preserve his own life, freedom and property against a monopoly on force is with force of his own (either as a deterrent to the enemy use of force or use in guerrilla combat with the enemy force).
Also, I strongly suggest that individuals form their own defense forces with people they know and trust to *avoid* compromising themselves – to focus on training and logistics for a defense against an aggressive police state. As Confucius once said “to send untrained people to war is to throw them away:” the purpose of my writings related to these subjects is to inspire people to acquire the necessary skills and pass them along to trusted people in their own communities, not to mindlessly lash out against the enemy force.
And I’ll admit to having something of a gruff (sometimes adversarial) nature. But that’s more the result of my own experiences and those of my affiliates (one of getting fucked repeatedly by a power monopoly) than me simply being some kind of jerk.
Broadened horizons are a good thing .. and yes, when operating outside of your context, particularly where the police state is a memory of bombed flat and millions dead, things will manifest differently. There is no police ‘license to kill’ here, added point being there are 13 outstanding arrest warrants in Germany for CIA operatives who can no longer freely travel outside the USA. If you were to temper your anger in such a way as conducive to dialogue, people learn more and more can be accomplished (e.g. in intelligence you never work with an angry operative, a cardinal rule, in professional terms. Pissed off people are pulled from operations)
And when there can be no longer be any interpretation of your comments et cetera as soliciting or advocating violence, simply because of care taken, it is less likely those thoughts would lead to someone young and impressionable drawn into those thoughts marked as a possible target for COINTEL type operations or the FBI phenomena of cultivating people for entrapment (most our ‘terror’ plots of the past ten years involved people cultivated and entrapped by our FBI, a false flag event of a police state turned on its own people) and taking this care extends responsible professionalism to this media outlet.
Your “I strongly suggest that individuals form their own defense forces with people they know and trust to *avoid* compromising themselves” will always be open to being *compromised* .. just for the record.
