Switzerland’s Discontent

Members of the world’s largest and most elite secret society recently descended on the town of St. Moritz, Switzerland, and the Swiss are not at all pleased. The Bilderberg group, who have convened quietly for fifty years, suddenly found themselves the center of media and International attention when protestors took to the street with accusations concerning their yearly conferences.

Bilderberg, named after the Dutch hotel where members first met in 1954, brings together some of the most influential figures on Earth. More than 120 top-level officials in government, banking, media, finance, business, think-tanks, armed forces, and even European royalty attend the confab every year. According to James P. Tucker, Jr., of American Free Press, Bilderberg is the most exclusive and secretive club in the world. To be admitted, you have to own a multinational bank, a multinational corporation or a country.

The Bilderberg gathering has, in the past, been so secret, their functions have been left to the conspiracy theorists. You may attend by invitation only. The press invited to attend a conference must agree to publish only what has been cleared by the group. Any journalist who violates this confidence is not invited back. Most of the Bilderberg conferences passed unnoticed, with no press coverage at all. This year was different. Perhaps because of the global economic slump, perhaps because of a surge in online independent press, but the Bilderberg summit did not go quietly into the night.

According to The New American, hundreds of protesters and critics from all across the political spectrum descended on St. Moritz to lambaste the elite attendees. They held up anti-Bilderberg signs and blasted their opposition through bull horns around the perimeter of the luxury Suvretta House hotel throughout the whole four-day gathering.

On the first day of the conference, along with a bogus “bomb” scare, a giant wall of curtains was erected around the edge of the Bilderberg compound. Presumably it was designed to keep protesters from looking in and conference attendees from being forced to see the growing crowd outside.

Several lower-ranking members of the political class made a fuss about the event as well. Italian member of the European Parliament Mario Borghezio, for example, attempted to force his way into the conference on the first day. He was reportedly detained and roughed up by police, prompting the Italian embassy in Switzerland to demand answers.

Prominent Swiss politicians were furious about the gathering, too. Center-right Parliamentarian Dominique Baettig of the nation’s largest political party, for example, asked prosecutors to consider arresting attendees such as former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger for war crimes, suggesting that Swiss officials at the event should be charged with treason. Baettig, too, tried unsuccessfully to barge in on the conference in what the Guardian’s Charlie Skelton called a “historic moment.”

The Invisible Economy

The Bilderbergers have often been called “the shadow government”, the scene behind the scene. The “inner circle”, or the Advisory Group, includes Giovanni Agnelli of Italy, Eric Roll of Ipsden from Great Britain, David Rockefeller of the USA and Otto Wolff von Amerongen of Germany. This year’s conference included Alexei Mordashov, the Russian steel magnate, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO of Amazon.com, Peter R. Orszag of Citigroups Global Markets, Inc., and Eric Schmidt, Executive Chairman of Google Inc., along with nearly two hundred other participants.

The official website claims that Bilderberg is a small, flexible, informal and off-the-record international forum in which different viewpoints can be expressed and mutual understanding enhanced. Bilderberg’s only activity is its annual Conference. At the meetings, no resolutions are proposed, no votes taken, and no policy statements issued. Since 1954, fifty-seven conferences have been held. For each meeting, the names of the participants as well as the agenda are made Public and available to the press.

The press is so well informed that the most they could cover concerning the conference, was a description of the various handbags and bad haircuts; that is, apart from the protests. In the intense political atmosphere, it was an awkward moment for Switzerland, which has maintained a position of political neutrality for over four hundred years. With black copters swarming overhead, security guards and cameras stationed at every corner, not even Swiss diplomats and press journalists were allowed into the conference.

Bilderberg members like it that way. Said David Rockefeller, “We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.”

But if we know absolutely nothing about what goes on in the gatherings of the richest and most powerful people in the world, aren’t we indulging in conspiracy theories? Investigative journalist, and author of the book, The True Story of the Bilderberg Group, Daniel Estulin, says no.

“Over almost 20 years of research I’ve found out that what today is called the Bilderberg group already existed over eight hundred years ago,” Estulin told RT correspondents. “Back then they were called the Venetian Black Nobility. Bilderberg is the creation of the Sinarchy movement, who are very potentially founders and financiers of Hitler. As Sinarchy International they, in turn, were founded by the Freemason esoteric secret society back in the 1770s, as a kind of a counter attack on the principles upon which the United States of America was built.”

“A lot of people speak of Bilderberg as a domain of conspiracy theories, and of course it’s not, it’s a historical fact,” Estulin stated. “A lot of people believe that Bilderberg is a one-world government or creating the new world order, especially people point to a speech made by George W. Bush back in the 1990s about the creation of a one world government. It’s actually not about that at all. It’s a meeting of people who represent a particular ideology. That ideology is of money.”

“So the idea is not to create a one world government, rather the creation of a one world company, limited to where financial concerns are far more powerful than any government on Earth,” the journalist added.

Bilderberg founding member and, for 30 years, a steering committee member, Denis Healey said, “To say we were striving for a one-world government is exaggerated, but not wholly unfair. Those of us in Bilderberg felt we couldn’t go on forever fighting one another for nothing and killing people and rendering millions homeless. So we felt that a single community throughout the world would be a good thing.”

Leaders of the Bilderberg Club argue that discretion is necessary to allow participants in the debates to speak freely without being on the record or reported publicly. Wikipedia recently deleted the Bilderberg attendees list, citing it to be possibly defamatory towards living persons.

At the website, “Jeremiah Project”, the author asks, “Why are the Davos World Economic Forum and G8 meetings carried in every newspaper, given front page coverage, with thousands of journalists in attendance, while no one covers Bilderberg Club meetings even though they are annually attended by Presidents of the International Monetary Fund, The World Bank, Federal Reserve, chairmen of 100 most powerful corporations in the world such as DaimlerChrysler, Coca Cola, British Petroleum, Chase Manhattan Bank, American Express, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Vice Presidents of the United States, Directors of the CIA and the FBI, General Secretaries of NATO, American Senators and members of Congress, European Prime Ministers and leaders of opposition parties, top editors and CEOs of the leading newspapers in the world.”

The One World Company

For over fifty years, the world’s wealthiest, most powerful and elite, have been meeting in secret, designing in secret for their own economic security, and quite possibly playing the world’s population like puppets. Their activities passed by unnoticed during the years of relative prosperity and comfort. The world is no longer comfortable. The recession, which began as a real estate bust, quickly became a global depression when the middle class ran out of buying power. Instead of accepting the losses due to over-extended lending, high interest rates and inflated values, the banks petitioned for and received a bail-out to continue their reckless policies. This bail-out was acquired by printing money with no real assets behind it except the promises that the consumer, who has already consumed more than affordable, will be able to buy the goods and services offered and pay them off sometime in the future. The value placed on the consumer has been over-extended. Monetary figures have become meaningless. A trillion dollars represents the same degree of debt accumulated just a few years by a billion dollars. A millionaire no longer represents a successful businessman; just someone who has managed to retain an upper middle-class status.

In Europe; the euro-dollar was meant to safe-guard against inflation. Their system of uniform currency intended to ease the difficulties with trade transactions and maintain support for the regional assets and resources within the European Union. When the dollar first weakened, the Euro dollar stayed strong. Countries whose foundations had been shaken by national bankruptcy, such as Iceland and Russia, petitioned for, but failed to gain acceptance into the European Union. However, for some countries, their position within the European Union has not saved them from bankruptcy. Their debt was to the International Monetary Funds, which is still governed primarily in dollars. The weakened millions have loomed into billions and the billions into trillions.

While some members of the seventeen nation European Union consider giving Greece another bail-out as its economy continues to flounder in bankruptcy, others are considering letting go of Greece in order to keep the value of the Euro-dollar strong. Some believe that including Ireland as a dysfunctional family member worth dumping is a good idea. The Euro dollar struggles, just a little ahead of the dollar, with investors hedging their bets on which currency is the most like to stay afloat. Meanwhile, China sits on the sidelines as the major lender in the world market, casually tossing out remarks, like using gold as the medium exchange for currency. China also had members arrive for the Bildergroup conference; Fu, Ying, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Huang, Yiping, Professor of Economics, China Center for Economic Research, Peking University.

The 2011 Billionaires List breaks two records: total number of listees (1,210) and combined wealth ($4.5 trillion). This horde surpasses the gross domestic product of Germany, one of only six nations to have fewer billionaires this year. BRICs led the way: Brazil, Russia, India and China produced 108 of the 214 new names. These four nations are home to one in four members, up from one in ten five years ago. Before this year only the U.S. had ever produced more than 100 billionaires. China now has 115 and Russia 101. War-torn Mexico added Carlos Slim Helu, whose fortune has increased by $20.5 billion, more than any other billionaire. The telecom mogul, who gets 62% of his fortune from America Movil (AMX – news – people ), is now worth $74 billion and has pulled far ahead of his two closest rivals. Bill Gates, No. 2, and Warren Buffett, No. 3, both added a more modest $3 billion to their piles and are now worth $56 billion and $50 billion, respectively. Gates, who now gets 70% of his fortune from investments outside of Microsoft ( MSFT – news – people ), has actually been investing in the Mexican stock market and has holdings in Mexican Coke bottler Femsa and Grupo Televisa ( TV – news – people ).

Using only pure logic and reason, one can certainly understand why the Bilderberg group desire secrecy. Their concerns are for ways to maintain their own income, to walk away from economic disasters unscathed. There’s nothing personal attached to it; just business. However, people take it personally when they feel they have been deceived, when their own business has been manipulated to fall because the value placed on their assets has decreased through the exchange rate of their currency. They take it personally when they invest in a market that only a few actually control, a stock market with ups and downs surprising only to the uninvited and uninitiated into the Bilderberg group. They take it personally when their entire country falls through an unpaid debt that cannot be paid back because the distribution of the wealth lies only in the hands of a few who have no intention of distributing it, but intend to accumulate more buying and spending power on paper. The paper accumulates. The billions escalate into trillions and millions are nothing more than an upper middle class wage.

Revolutions have been fought for less. In every corner of the globe, civil riots and protests are taking place; not over democratic freedom; not for new roads, hospitals and schools, but for food and shelter. Their governments have failed them because the moratorium of International law has failed to protect them. We are not, nor should we become, a One World Order, assimilating all countries, cultures and ethnic backgrounds into one ideal. It is a mistake to become a One World Company, governed by those who successfully made it to billionaire status. Our individual value is not in the paper currency of a monopoly game. Our goods, our services, our natural and human resources should be equitable, regardless of our economic situation. We’ve been gambled with and the game is rigged. The only winners are 1,200 billionaires and two hundred members of the Bilderberg conference.

Some great perversity of nature decided to give me a tune completely out of keeping with the general symphony; possibly from the moment of conception. I learned to read and speak almost simultaneously. The blurred and muffled world I heard through my first five years of random nerve loss deafness suddenly came alive with the clarity of how those words sounded on paper. I had been liberated for communications. I decided there was nothing more wonderful than writing. It was easier to write than carefully modulate my speech for correct pronunciation, and it was easier to read than patiently follow the movements of people’s lips to learn what they were saying. It was during that dawning time period, while I slowly made the connection that there weren’t that many other people who heard the way I did, halfway between sound and music, half in deafness, that I began to understand that the tune I was following wasn’t quite the same as that of my classmates. I was just a little different. General education taught me not only was I just a little isolated from my classmates, my home was just a little isolated from the outside world. I was born in Alaska, making me part of one of the smallest, quietest minorities on earth. I decided I could live with this. What I couldn’t live with was discovering a few years later, in the opening up of the pipeline, which coincided with my first year of junior college, that there were entire communities of people; more than I could possibly imagine; living impossibly one on top of another in vast cities. It wasn’t even the magnitude of this vision that inspired me so much as the visitors who came from these populous regions and seemed to possess a knowledge so great and secretive I could never learn it in any book. I became at once, very conscious of how rural I was and how little I knew beyond the scope of my environment. I decided it was time to travel. The rest is history; or at least, the content of my stories. I traveled... often to college campuses, dropping in and out of school until one fine day by chance I’d fashioned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. I’ve worked a couple of newspapers, had a few poems and stories tossed around in various small presses, never receiving a great deal of money, which I’m assured is the norm for a writer. I spent ten years in Mexico, watching the peso crash. There is some obscure reason why I did this, tightening up my belt and facing hunger, but I believe at the time I said it was for love. Here I am, back home, in my beloved Alaska. I’ve learned somewhat of a worldly viewpoint; at least I like to flatter myself that way. I’ve also learned my rural roots aren’t so bad after all. I work in a small, country store. Every day I greet the same group of local customers, but make no mistake. My store isn’t a scene out of Andy Griffith. The people who enter the establishment, which also includes showers, laundry and movie rentals, are miners, oil workers, truck drivers, construction engineers, dog sled racers and carpenters. Sometimes, on the liquor side, the conversations became adult only in vocabulary. It’s a good thing, on the opposite side of the store is a candy aisle filled with the most astonishing collection, it will keep a kid occupied with just wishing for hours. If you tell your kids they can have just one, you have an instant baby sitter; better than television; as they agonize over their choice while you catch up on the gossip with your neighbor. We also receive a lot of tourists, a lot of foreign visitors. They are usually amazed at this first sign of Alaskan rural life style beyond the insulating hub of the Anchorage bowl. Many of them like to hang around and chat. They gawk at our thieves wanted posters. They laugh at our jokes and camaraderie with our customers. I’ve learned another lesson while working there. You don’t have to go out and find the world. If you wait long enough, it comes to you.

  1. Excellent article! And validation for anyone who’s ever insisted that secret societies don’t exist. They exist…whatever they’re talking about remains anyone’s guess. But powerful people with money, who profit in times of recession, got to have an agenda.

  2. Thank you karlsie for this 24-paragraph report, that I find in error, as in regards to paragraph #19 of: “the banks petitioned for and received a bail-out to continue their reckless policies. This bail-out was acquired by printing money with no real assets behind it except the promises that the consumer, who has already consumed more than affordable, will be able to buy the goods and services offered and pay them off sometime in the future.”

This is what those Federal Reserve members and the F.B.I. Director for “Uncle Sam” here in America would like for you to think. Reference: paragraph #18 above. When in reality the contract the Fed has with us is The Federal Reserve Act of 1913, and section 16, part 15 thereof in particular of NOT to print “fiat” paper money, but have to deposit so much gold bullion per pallet of FRNs (Federal Reserve Notes) monetized, that they buy at only 6-cents each no matter what the denomination of from the $1.00 to the $100 bill.

Nowadays “Uncle Sam” accepts gold certificates because Fort Knox is supposedly full, and that a bar from such was tested to be tungsten!

So when you “cash” out your payroll check (is an order to pay) or note (is a promise to pay), remind them of that bank of NOT to be a bankster but of to pay according to the contract: the law of The Coinage Act of 1792. If you or your state has Article I, Section 8, Clause 17 U.S. Constitution “Consent”ed to The Coinage Act of 1965, then that’s your problem, not mine. I claim what the law pre-scribes and so call upon law-enforcement to enforce the law when they of the banksters try to debase the coin. And me in a country where the descendants of Thomas Jefferson wake up “homeless” in his famous quote of such over at: http://www.quotationspage.com/quote/37700.html and as per this word in paragraph #16 above. Let it not happen to you.

  3. Joseph, i wish i had the writing skills of Thomas Jefferson. I want to thank you for the link to the page that summarizes my awkward message far more eloquently: “I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.
    Thomas Jefferson, (Attributed)
    3rd president of US (1743 – 1826)”

The banking institutions attach false values to their ability to lend and to the assets they hold as hostages until the borrower has paid back the debt. If the monetary value is not stable; i.e., reserves in gold bullion or other solid assets, both the lending and the paying back in currency worth can be manipulated. For instance, if you borrowed one hundred thousand (dollars) from the bank last year, and your currency devalues by twenty percent over the next twelve months, you have twenty percent less ease for paying back on the loan as you make adjustments for the consequent rise in cost of living expenses. There is also the matter of paying back the interest, which compounds each time you delay on the principle of the debt. The amount needed to pay back the loan can double or triple within a few years on what the banks had declared a hundred dollar asset.

It’s erroneous to believe that the Colonial War was fought on principles of a Constitution that had not yet been formed. The majority of the people who fought in the war had absolutely no idea of the type of government they wanted. They just wanted to be free of English debt that controlled the values placed on their resources, their imports and exports. They would have made George Washington a king if he had not declined.

I’m grateful for the foresight, the ingenuity, the clarity of reason that caused our forefathers to shape the immortal words of the Constitution. It has become the groundwork for a maturing awareness of the equality in all peoples. It’s a pity, however, than nearly two hundred fifty years later, the spirit of the Constitution has turned into nothing more than a piece of paper as an elitist excuse for committing war and trampling the rights of others in the name of democracy and free enterprise.

  4. You’re welcome. Keep up the good work. This report is spreading like wildfire over at Care2News. All Bank Directors take an oath to obey the statutes in the state(s) they operate in, whether it be a state chartered bank (mutual or stock-holder owned), or national bank, of if the latter, the similar language they sign to is at the F.D.I.C. Website. So when cashing your paycheck, give the bank either a verbal +/or written a “Notice of Dishonor” by U.C.C. in accepting the quantity of coins, but of not the quality. On a temporary basis, of to then sue either criminally based on $amount as either a misdemeanor or a felony, +/or in a civil suit for a trial by jury, as I suspect these judges on bench-trial get FRN kickbacks as they did here in the N.H. Senate a few years ago when key votes needed to be bought, as told to me by a State Rep./ Retired State Trooper which info I relayed to the House at a Committee Public Hearing but with no investigation as they must have been on-the-take too. Of past-tense under the Democratic regime who did away with that Part of N.H. House Rule 4 for Article 32 Petitions for wrongs, that has resulted in a New House Grievance Committee soon to come down on Uncle Sam too like a ton of bricks! Federalists v.s. us with state rights. Me a southerner in Yankee territory, and this school district B.S. too of them saying that I’ve got to subsidize the rich! A Reverse Robin Hood system warned against by Milton & Rose Friedman in their best-selling book + PBS-TV series of: “Free To Choose” (c)1980, that has got to stop!

  5. I have been aware of the existence of the Bilderbergs for I think about the last 11 years. I think their agenda, and this is what I think: their agenda is not good, at least for the place where I rank in society. But my mind is closer to news releases that are available which to me are the most frightening: The passage of The Patriot Act which allows authorities to barge in on you in your home and if you mildly ask “what is going on” you are told you are not allowed to protest that much. Then their is the TSA intrusive surveillance system in airports, supposedly installed to locate terrorists. I find this difficult to believe. Anyway, if you have to be so loaded down with power and money to set your big toe in a Bildeberg meeting, then I believe that can’t be good. Anyway, thanks for the article. I read more of it than my attention span will allow. But it is very well written and I hope to read it completely over and over. I saved to my Bookmarks “app” if that tells anyone anything as to how important this issue is for me. But sadly, no one is telling me how us little people can gather together and fight these Bildebergers. Maybe it’s in that part of the article I haven’t yet read.

  6. These Bilderberg people and others like them might be the brains of the oufit, but the state entities (which are little more than monopolies on force) are what protects them – they are essentially the muscle behind the plan.

Take out the power monopolies that make groups like Bilderberg possible and these social elite will be as vulnerable to harm as the next guy.

  7. First told 30-40 years ago by members of U. S. Army, I’m happy to see this group, to me, finally brought out.

Like any problem situation, it’s first got to be acknowledged & accepted, before you can do something about it. I didn’t finish the article, but originally told this is what runs the world, INCLUDING starting wars.

  8. Joseph, after reading your missive and checking with Care2 through the incoming link, my understanding is that you are saying we should demand from the banks, gold and silver exchange for our payroll checks instead of fiat money. China has made it no secret that it feels gold bullion should be the standard of exchange, and there are a number of Mideastern and African countries that are being persuaded in the same direction.

Metals in general have been skyrocketing in value. Look at all the new coins. Not only are quarters and dimes simply silver painted, pennies are not pure copper, nor nickles made from pure nickle. They are carelessly and sloppily made. However, do not let the metal industry fool you. They are among the most powerful entities in the world and are just as manipulative about controlling prices.

Rosemary, there is no solution written into my article, as i believe the solutions will have to appear regionally; perhaps even individual by individual. Perhaps when enough people say, “we won’t use this fiat money. We’ll just trade and barter,” and enough regions and countries channel the development of their natural resources into the well being of their inhabitants instead of lining industrial pockets, we can begin to see a prosperous global community.

Carl W., i did research several articles that suggested the Bilderberg group was behind a number of wars, but i would like to indulge the optimism, or perhaps the fantasy, that these are the inclinations of individual members, and not the group as a whole. I would say all the members are alerted in advance as to when the banks plan to pull the rug out from under a country’s economy, and part of the general panic and subsequent depression is due to the rapid selling and buying involved by the prepared. One decisive action by a major dealer causes a snowball effect.

Azazel, one thing that occurred to me was the loneliness actually involved with being a billionaire. In their castles and elegant settings, they are isolated from real life. They cannot truly become a part of it. They must have their guards, their squadron of armor, everywhere they go. In the wide world of astonishment, unpredictability and spontaneous humor, they are isolated. They have no real friends, only friends for hire. By cutting themselves off from humankind, they have become prey for predators. Whether they deny it or not, economically, the wealthiest people rule the world. People will tolerate, even adore, a benevolent king, but a king who cares nothing for the well being of his subjects, they will not. If the billionaires who control the world’s wealth are not stepping up to the plate to help resolve the world’s problems, they are the problem.

  9. Why am I not surprised to see a Rockefeller involved in this secret society. There are more secrets in this world that most people care to know, especially ones that involve the control of power and wealth. I intend to read this book. I’m mystified though, that a functioning idiot like George W. Bush could be part of this society; his father must have had him inducted, since George W. did not have the mental capacity to run the United States. That’s probably why his father installed his own henchmen in the White House with George–to protect him from himself.

  10. @ Karlsie,

You may be correct about the wealthy ruling the world today, but the concept of “wealth” that is commonly used (that of having large amounts of currency to one’s name) is wholly artifical – most of the currency in circulation today is backed by nothing but fiat of the state. And what pay tell is the state? A monopoly on force.

In other words, Mao was right – all power stems from the barrel of a gun. If one has enough force at hi command, he can simply create wealth just by declaring it to exist (via a host of accounting tricks bankers and politicians have picked up over the years).

The wealthy elite might control the money supply, but the reason the money exists at all is because there are enough guns working for those who *want* that money to exists – destroy the state and you not only destroy the wealthy elite, but you remove the means to establish a wealthy elite in the first place…

  11. @ Joseph,

Forget gold – metals only have value as long as the estabishments that use them continue to ascribe value to them. I would suggest that you instead invest your money in weapon, ammunition and survival gear (tents, sleeping gear, combat knives, batteries, etc…): those will be far more valuable than gold once shit hits the fan…

  12. Azazel as I read your comments which I agree with, it reminded me of a comment Bill made on one of your earlier articles regarding the mythology of the zombie-apocolyps.

George Romero very cleverly addressed the ruling class and its fall in his movie ‘Land of the Dead’. Wherin the underpaid and looked down upon police state realizes it has been used and deserts the rich who of course fall to the ‘newly awakened’ zombies. However it also illustrates that it’s really too late for everyone when this happens. Way too late for the zombies. Which is I fear what will happen when our very own placated nation awakes to what their situation really is.

Not that nothing else will grow afterward. Of course it will. It will probably be equally human and disappointing.

  13. @ Grainne Rhuad,

I happen to appreciate Romero’s works as well (it’s a tradition of mine to watch “Night of the Living Dead” every Halloween) and find much of the social commentary in his films to reflect reality (although I don’t like the “awakened” zombies of “Land of the Dead” – it defeats the purpose of the zombie film if you ask me…). As far as I’m concerned, the present social order is just one, big flesh-eating zombie: a walking corpse that has yet to figure out that it died some time ago and yet continues to consume resources for the interests of the elite – all at the expense of the rest of us!

As for your comment that whatever else grows to replace it would be equally disappointing – I can understand why one might think such things (history has a tendency to repeat itself) and I found myself discussing the philosophical implications of a new society replicating the old order with one of my militia associates a few weeks back (contrary to popular belief, we’re not all ignorant rednecks with too much time and firepower at our disposal – a number of us are actually quite well-learned). After a significant amount of weighing out the social costs of revolution and soul-searching we both came to one conclusion: we simply won’t know the full extent of our actions until we make them – if a revolution is incited there is the potential of a new tyranny rising from the victorious insurrection, but if there is no revolution tyranny is an unavoidable certainty.

I can’t promise that a new society rising from the ashes of the old will not become rotten and corrupted like the present order, but what I can promise is a chance to start over – there are no guarantees, only opportunities.

  14. While I am naturally suspicious of any group that meets behind closed doors to discuss global financial concerns, I remain hopeful. Why? Because of this right here, the internet, the free flow of information and opinion. And, at least in countries that truly have it, the power of the individual citizen’s right to vote. Until my right to vote gets taken away, there is no such thing as tyranny in my country; we get the government that we deserve because we choose it, each and every voter.

  15. So what about killing a few to save a lot ? The excuse for war is always it’s for the greater good so how about culling these people from sociey You know – It’s for the greater good .

  16. @ JD,

The vote is meaningless when the candidates are pre-screened and selected by special interests that care nothing for your well-being – as George Carlin once said “politicians are there to give you an illusion of choice.”

  17. The Bilderberg group is pure gutter scum that thinks they own us human hostage. Well, I have news for them, they have accomplished one thing with me and that is total disrespect for authority! All the way down to the police cop on the corner. Their secret is finally public thanks to Alex Jones, Jesse Ventura and others who have found them out and will never let them get a good night’s sleep!

  18. What is most concerning about this group is their connection to the Federal Reserve and their access to American wealth and hard earned tax payers money. Just like Ron Paul, I want a full investigation of the Federal Reserve which is going to lead to Bilderberg members. It would be, should we say, “cleansing”.

  19. Great comments. I would like to add just one thing; the wars currently brought on by my country in peticular (U.S.), are following this exact same agenda. As stated in the article and in many of your comments, it is a game that is being played, and anyone not in the game we have been going to war with. Countries such as China, who are not fully on board with the fiat money scheme, will eventually be put to war with countries in which the central banks already own. China is a very powerful contry, yet they economic bubble will collapse soon as well. It is sad it has come this far and even more devastating is we will all be witnesses to this in the near future. It is true what they say, “Money is the root to all evil.” I am not attempting to inflict any personal views on you, just be aware of such things, and most importantly do your own research. Although censorship of the web, as currently making its way through congress, will eventually make that difficult as well. And eventually when people attempt to stand against the inevitable, they will be viewed as “terrorists”, and unconstitutional laws, such as the Patriot Act will be sure to silence you quickly and effectively. Stay safe everyone, and look up the definition of a “terrorist” while your at it. Is one still considered a terrorist if one’s country has gone completely currupt and stripped us of our constitutional rights completely? The answer is yes.

  20. People often state this misquote: “Money is the root to all evil.”

It is “THE LOVE OF money is the root of all evil”.
Money is a tool which can be used for good or ill. To have love for it above other things leads to wickedness I think.

  21. @all

Just a quick question: Why would anyone subscribe to this illusion, somehow thought of unanimously as an axiom, that any of you is entitled to any “rights”?

Why do you think just because you happen to be pushed out of your mommy at a particular point in “space” and “time”, which granted you a “nationality” on the basis of arbitrary lines drawn on a map, then you are by default entitled to the riches and the resources of the land?

I hope we all agree that there is one and ONLY one real commodity out there that has real value: Knowledge, know-how, innovation, technology … or whatever else you may want to call it; anything else has an arbitrary value assigned to it by a balance of “demand” and “scarcity”.

Alas, we all suffer from the human condition (emotions, superstitions, religion, hope, optimism, limited memory and brain functionality which are not scalable, …) yet we have the ability to think critically, solve problems and innovate. Unfortunately, most of humanity has pretty much suspended this ability beyond satisfying their basic primal needs and have become “consumers”.

I agree, some of these 1,200 or so billionaires are only a part of that exclusive club because they were born in wealth and power, but most got there through innovation, risk taking and sheer intelligence. Yes, finding a successful scheme to hack/exploit the system/status quo and benefit from it AND getting away with it is also a sign of intelligence!

You may blame the problems of the world on the financial and the intellectual elite, but maybe it is the complacent “consumer”, the average Joe who only benefits from the fruits of ingenuity of mankind and gives NOTHING back in return which is at fault. Maybe a world government, the intelligent management of the Earth’s resources is the answer which will save humanity from itself!

    Just a thought …

  22. It seems that as soon as a person becomes extremely wealthy i.e. Bill Gates, Carlos Slim, etc. they are immediately pulled into such organizations. They must feel like they’re masters of the universe…honored and thrilled that such people as Royalty wants them in their presence. For all the evil that they are spreading around the world, it’s tragic that they don’t realize that they can’t take it with them. Ok, they feel smug and satisfied that their children will socially and financially secure and that others like them will carry on “the work”. But there is one thing of which they are ignorant and that is the universal law of cause and effect. Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher both had brains that turned to mush. Dick Cheney has a heart that barely functions (probably because he’s never used it). These people turn on their own, as we’ve seen with world leaders who don’t follow the program.

They so-called human beings are the worst of the worst, bottom-feeders, scum, evil personified on this planet. They control food production, the environment, the invention and spread of disease (HIV-AIDS), manipulate economies, education, stock markets,
    communications and information.

The only thing good people can do is to be true to themselves, keep their heads down and watch what they say and do and try to get through life as best they can.

The Bilderberger’s and their ilk simply can’t survive forever because in all evil things there is “a parasite in the bowel of the lion”.

  23. this is BS!! Only benefits the billionaires not the people!!Of course they need protection from someone from the bottom who may take offence and snuck in with a silencer11

  24. Yeah so even my comments are moderated/euphemism for keep it clean!?Yeah right, then it would be in Australia and /nz best interests to become a Republic and ditch the Queen!1

  25. Whoops! And what of—The Pilgrims Society? “A secret society gradually absorbing the wealth of the world” Review of Reviews May 1902 pp556-558. This group who I’ve been chasing for eleven years still refuses to post rosters. Yet you are free to see who attends Bilderberg. Doesn’t that tell you anything? The old article calls them “the first organization” (as in pre-eminent).

Most Pilgrims members have never attended Bilderberg, so? Paul Mellon (1907-1995) “controls thousands of companies—literally owns Gulf Oil” etc (William Hoffman, biographer). Bank of New York Mellon now represents $28 trillion.

The Duke of Westminster today owns major real estate developments in 70 cities in 17 countries and is moving to feed the masses with soldier fly maggots and treated sewage sludge. His wife comes from old Russian nobility representing around $300 billion in current terms. The Pilgrims Society (David Rockefeller, Pilgrims 1949—-) founded Bilderberg as a distraction from the REAL power group whose motto “Hic Et Ubique” means here and everywhere—a reference to their holdings and influence.

As of 1932 the Mellon family wealth was “equal to the entire value of all the property in the State of Texas”—Congressman Wright Patman. At their founding in 1902-1903, The Pilgrims Society had as members, top brass from both sides in the USA Civil War, British South African war commanders, Boxer Rebellion military officials—to plan World War One. All this with no Bilderberg. At Versailles in 1919, Pilgrims members including Henry White and Lord Curzon caused World War 2 by provoking the German people to turn to a military dictator for relief. Pilgrims Society members founded both the League of Nations and the UN. The sponsor of the world’s most secret organization is the British Sovereign, who is far wealthier than Bilderberg’s Queen Juliana. Bilderberg is one of more than 7,000 subsidiaries of The Pilgrims Society. Prince Philip alone controls over 800 organizations. Pilgrims ancestors trace to William The Conqueror—Bilderberg traces to a hotel 888 years later.

  26. God enabled mankind to be Creators, not thieves. Those who manifest their creative skills need not worry about those who seek to steal their fruits as they shall also create the resources to protect them, and the thieves shall only prevail upon the lazy and weak.

  27. This is a subject that deserves constant attention and equivalent energies and wisdom with which to employ it’s defense and it’s potential charities to mankind if met with such.

  28. What everyone had better realize is that the only saving grace is the the U.S.A. is still armed , heavily armed and ready more now than ever to stand and fight against tyrranical government and those who seek to enslave us all. Just as our forefathers intended. Whether you like it or believe this matters not. But these “massshootings by and large are staged . By whom? We the people will see, and see very soon. Try and take our guns try to restrict them and legislate them out of existence , just keep on fat cats and your going to wind up in a hole you cannot dig your way out of. So help me God and keep me steadfast.
