Sunday treats used to consist of giant milk shakes at the drug store for fifty cents, while the teenage crowd gathered around a juke box, or roller skated around to serve hamburgers (big ones with real meat) and fresh cut french fries. McDonald's had stolen the children! The evil clown has been a piped piper introducing them the eternal bliss of saturated fat. The cage with all the playground equipment is so they don't bounce off the walls from their excess sugar rush while drinking their super size me sodas. Eh. We've been punishing our best team of winter sportsman into shape, but like the unpatriotic numbskull that i am, i haven't truly been following them. All i can say for now is, i hope we put on a good show. It always feels just a little marvelous when we have an outstanding performer in the winter Olympics, a feeling i'm sure holds true for any demographic location. I hope you'll keep us up to date with your special bird's eye view on this year's Olympics. It must be an exciting time for Vancouver. I'll bet they sell lots of maple leaf caps.
